Puppy post

Not at all book related, but I feel like sharing :)
This is my dog, Jojo. She is a 7 month old shih-tzu who recently underwent a spay, hernia repair and had an identity micro chip inserted. Her procedures were 11 days ago and today I had her at the groomers for a little bit of pampering. Because of her incision we still can't get her underside wet, but I still took her in for a bit of a trim and clean up.

She is still pretty young, but according to the vet, she is at her adult size. Her parts that were removed were full growth when it comes to size and weight, so we can expect her not to get bigger. She might get fatter if I over feed her, but as it stand, she is the biggest she will ever be.

Her mom is 7lbs, her dad is 10lbs, and she is 6lbs 8oz. Her breeder, who is a relative of mine is shocked at how small she is, but I think she is perfect. I wanted a small dog, and that's what I got.
Of course, she is not as small as Ame's She-Rah, though. LOL (*reminder* Send Jojo's out grown clothes to She-Rah like I was supposed to do months ago! Ames, tell She-Rah I will do it soon, I promise :-)

I'm trying to convince my husband to let us get either a Pug or a Dachshund so that Jojo can have a playmate. Keep your fingers crossed. I really want another dog :)
